Horses and ponies have been my love and passion throughout my entire life. When I was a little girl, not having any illustration or drawing paper available, I started drawing them in the cover pages of our family's library book collection and my very first schoolbook pages. Although I got into a little trouble when my mother discovered the drawings while browsing through the books, my father, Ralph Ruch Sr., started bringing me yellow legal pads from his office and my art career started! I actually found one of my first horse drawings and for fun, here it is!!!
I wrote, created and illustrated this "Little Dreamer" story to help make dreams come true. And with the improvement that I've seen with how Equine Therapy has improved the lives of so many, I am thrilled to be donating a part of each sale to Dream Catcher of Los Angeles Therapeutic Riding Centers, an Equine Therapy program in Long Beach, Ca.
